How much should a business website cost in Nigeria?

A practical way to compare website budgets by scope, risk, content, integrations, and the business value involved.

Price follows scope, not page count alone

Two websites with the same number of pages can require very different levels of strategy, content, design, functionality, and quality assurance. A useful estimate starts with the business job the website needs to do.

A small credibility website may organise services and capture enquiries. A more complex platform might include accounts, payments, dashboards, integrations, or a large search architecture. Those are different products, even when both are called websites.

The main cost drivers

Discovery, original design, content preparation, data migration, e-commerce, bookings, user accounts, automation, and search requirements all affect the work. Tight timelines can also increase coordination and delivery risk.

Ask for a proposal that makes assumptions explicit. It should separate must-have outcomes from optional improvements and explain what happens after launch.

Choose for total value

A low initial price can become expensive when the result is difficult to update, slow on mobile, invisible in search, or unable to integrate with the business. Compare partners on their thinking, evidence, implementation quality, and handover—not visual style alone.

Apply this to your project

Use the estimator for an indicative scope, or share the business challenge for a more useful conversation.
